Fall Photo Safari and Scavenger Hunt

Grab your cameras on Sunday, October 1, for a Fall Photo Safari led by award-winning photojournalist Jessic Tefft, whose work has been featured in the Washington PostLos Angeles Times, and the Rocky Mountain News. She's also covered the White House, presidential elections, breaking news, and traveled to Cuba and the Alaskan wilderness.

Gateway is the perfect urban setting to go on a photo safari or scavenge for special things to capture on camera. There's so much to see and photograph: flowers, leaves, insects, birds, tree moss, plants, scrubs, droplets of water in Salem Creek, vines of every shape and length, creepy crawly things like worms, long, short and curly blades of grass, and lots of other natural habitat features, such as twigs shaped like the letters L and Y. So join us!

Meet at the Washington Park parking lot, 1480 S. Broad Street, and follow the signs!
