Boy Scouts
Boy Scout troops have volunteered at the Gateway Nature Preserve by cleaning up trash and removing invasive vegetation.
Gateway has also been the grateful beneficiary of several Eagle Scout projects, including building culverts along the Forest Discovery Trail to minimize flood damage, constructing an entrance arch to the Pollinator Garden, and designing and installing a water gauge to measure water levels in Salem Creek.
Your troop can earn merit badges and do service projects at Gateway in these areas:
